Reflection
Experience
-
I learned through doing all the task to make book layout and
learned about publishing design. I also learned about doing
interactive pdf in Adobe InDesign while doing the brand
guideline task. I found out that producing a book and reading a
book actually feels quite different, I think I like to read but
when it comes it content generating or writing, I often get
stuck and does not get satisfied with my work. That's why I
think I still need a lot of practise to master in Publishing
Design.
Observations
-
I observe that there is a lot of work required in producing and
publishing a book. It seems more work needed to do than I think.
Also to make an interesting book, it requires more knowledge and
creativity in layout design.
Findings
-
I find myself doing a lot of repetitive works in this module, mainly
using Adobe InDesign and doing layout designs, but it is also very
difficult for me to design a layout which is creative and effective
enough when doing these tasks.
