Reflection
Experience

Book Design Task
This task took a long time for me to finish from doing all
of the exercises to determine the book size, creating
content and visuals to completing the layout of the book.
This is also my first time printing my own book and making
it from start to end so I think its very interesting.
While it's interesting I also think doing this task is a
bit exhausting as I can't get a satisfied layout/visual
when starting to do and always stuck at the
progress. Although there is many trial and error
from creating the content to printing it out and it is
still not as perfect or good but it is still a good
experience for me.
Brand Guideline Task
The collaborate task with Brand Corporate Identity task, i
get to make a brand guideline using the things I learned
in publishing design, placing the assignment outcome of my
brand for the module Brand Corporate Identity. I get to
reflect my work while doing the brand guideline.
Observations
-
I learned that an interesting layouts attracts people's
attention and can let people wants to know about it more. So,
creating an interesting visuals while following the grids and
margins, it makes the content flow with hierarchy while
attracting people's eye.
Findings
-
Through doing this task, I get to make my own book and
also an interactive PDF in InDesign. I find that doing
a repetitive work does keep getting boring but if I
keep doing it and keep trying new ways or creative
ways to do the repetitive work, I can improve while
designing too.
